Thank you for your continued support of the arts at the Betty Feves Memorial Gallery. As we celebrate the gallery’s 35th Anniversary, your generosity plays a vital role in sustaining free, high-quality art and education in our community.

I’m pleased to share an exciting lineup of exhibitions this academic year. We opened with Connections: Clay & Community, a celebration of the gallery’s 35-year anniversary featuring works by Betty Feves alongside five contemporary ceramic instructors from colleges around the region.

Our next exhibit, for the Winter Term, is the Southeast Asia Collection from the remarkable Harriet Isom, with a reception on February 26th. The Spring Term will feature the artwork of Lorie Baxter—a visual artist and an instrumental force in Pendleton’s arts community. Baxter was a member of the group that founded the Feves Gallery, as well as its first director. Honoring her work feels especially fitting during this anniversary year.

My commitment to accessible, high-quality arts education continues to honor Betty Feves’ inspiring legacy.
