EVMS Waitzer Scholarship Challenge

Join Brad Waitzer and make a $3 million impact for EVMS medical students! The above-average debt our medical students accrue motivated longtime EVMS supporter, Brad Waitzer, to issue a challenge to the EVMS community. Your gift will help reduce debt for medical students with financial needs and ensure EVMS can continue to recruit the best and brightest students.

Scholarship Investment Opportunities:

1. Make a gift to an existing fund below.

• EVMS School of Medicine Scholarship for a medical student demonstrating financial need.
• MD Alumni Scholarship for a first-year medical student demonstrating merit and financial need who has a record of community focus and leadership.
• Diversity and Inclusion MD Scholarship for a first-year medical student of a minority background underrepresented in medicine, demonstrating financial need. 
• L.D. Britt, MD, MPH Scholarship for a first-year medical student of minority background underrepresented in medicine.
• Or any other fund that supports MD scholarships at EVMS.

2. Establish an endowed scholarship.
